About Monika Broecker
Monika is the founder of the Center of Personal Growth. Monika is a coach, facilitator, workshop leader and host, consultant, author & editor and motivational speaker. With a Masters Degree in Communication from the University of Arts, Berlin, Germany and an extensive background in systemic family therapy, particularly problem-solving and solution-focused Brief Therapy (at Mental Research Institute, Palo Alto, CA with Paul Watzlawick and others and at the Brief Family Therapy Center, Milwaukee, WI with Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg), Monika has held highly rated positions in Learning and Leadership Development in companies such as BMW, Designworks/USA, HP, VERITAS Software (now: Symantec), PA Consulting Group, Electronic Arts and Google. Monika is also working on her second Masters degree (MFT) at the California Institute for Integral Studies and her license as a therapist in California. More.
About Mariah Howard
Mariah is a visual recorder, facilitator, dialog host, and teacher. As a visual recorder, Mariah works with non-profit organizations, corporations, and community groups to capture their conversations and presentations in the form of colorful murals. She also enjoys making visual maps, logos, and illustrations for individual clients who want a creative way to present their resumes, biographies, new projects and strategic plans. Mariah’s work with groups includes facilitating and visually recording community and corporate dialogs, training people to host and record The World Cafe dialog process, and teaching public and private visual recording workshops that build on students’ creativity and ability to listen deeply. She has worked throughout the country as a visual recorder and teacher and abroad in Costa Rica, Thailand, and India.
