Aligning the goals of the individual, the team and the organization.
The Challenge: Lack of engagement and productivity
"Employee Engagement is a measurable degree of an employee's positive or negative emotional attachment to their job, colleagues and organization which profoundly influences their willingness to learn and perform at work". Scarlett Surveys
Only 31% of employees are actively engaged in their jobs - 2011 Blessing White Employee Engagement Report.
Companies with high employee engagement greatly outperform companies with lower employee engagement. Towers Watson Study: Companies with a highly engaged workforce improved operating income by 19.2% over a period of 12 months, whilst those companies with low engagement scores saw operating income decline by 32.7% over the same period.
Specific Challenges Women face in the work-place
Although many people suffer from fatigue, disconnection, and distraction in fast-paced and high-pressure work environments. Women are faced with their own unique set of pressures and demands that need to be addressed separately from a mixed gender workshop. Having societal pressures of “doing it all”, women have an extra set of issues to contend with in terms of engagement. Burn out occurs when balancing work and home life becomes unmanageable. Becoming overwhelmed with responsibility can lead many women to leave a full-time job. The decision to choose family over career is an understandable one. However, it is not a necessary one.
Solution: Aligned Leadership
Aligned Leadership is a workshop focused on realigning female leaders with their original intentions and goals for their careers. Creating and invigorating a link between the physical, mental and emotional presence of each participant to better align with the goals of the company.
Each participant will have a minimum of one follow-up private coaching session. It is important to coach all levels from entry-level employees to senior leadership, to address the individual’s relationship to themselves, their relationship to their colleagues, costumers and the company as a whole. These individual sessions explore habitual reactions in the areas of communication and problem solving and are focused on performance issues and/or career development goals.
Follow-up coaching sessions take the form of in-depth dialogues over a period of time or single sessions to address specific needs, such as an upcoming presentations or immediate rapport issue between employees.
Every company faces the possibility of an erosion of employee commitment. This workshop helps the participants to discover why they are not as fully engaged, how to turn it around for themselves and how, as managers, they can increase employee engagement for their staff.
