This two-day course offers an opportunity to study one’s dreams dramatically, reflectively, symbolically and somatically. We will narrate, walk through and play out dreams in a dramatic setting, a process supported by fundamental Jungian and somatic concepts.
1. To collect and reflect on your dreams as a doorway into unconscious imagery that informs conscious life and behavior
2. To become familiar with Jungian concepts such as individuation, the shadow, the complex and archetypes as they present themselves in our dream interpretation and understanding.
3. By walking through and acting out dreams, to notice the somatic correspondence to the images.
Keep a Dream Journal. Bring to the first class your dream and write briefly your associations and basic understanding. On the afternoon of the second day, you will write about what has deepened, shifted and/or remained the same in your somatic understanding of the dream.
